Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

For the Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, sugar, and beef broth until smooth. Set aside.
  • Cook the Beef: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the onion, garlic, and mixed bell peppers. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook for another 2 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Combine: Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir well to coat. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.
  • Serve: Serve the stir-fry hot over steamed rice or noodles, and enjoy!
